The Movement 46 mission is geared towards the revitalization of Macon County. This is an amazing opportunity for citizens and supporters to give back to our home.

The organization will focus on bridge building by: creating opportunity for employment in the trade and small business sector, provide educational/community service projects and more importantly generate revenue within the area thus The Movement 46 have join forces with Tuskegee Macon County Community Foundation, INC (TMCCF), a 501(c)(3) public charity organization, to assist in bringing the community’s vision to life. Heretoforth TMCCF will act as the nonprofit administrative entity and fiscal agent for The Movement 46.

The funding of our organization will not only assist in rehabilitating dilapidated properties but it will also open new opportunities for employment for our general contractor and other independent business owner, create potential internship for the college students as well as get the citizens involved in the beautification process of the community.

The “US” in Tuskegee signifies unity and this is the only way we will be able to move forward. With our contributions, we don’t have to wait for someone to change our city, we can work together and do it ourselves. I think we all can agree that NOW is the time to protect and preserve our history and Rehabilitate our community one corner at a time.
